Safety first – especially when freeriding in Kaprun
Skiing away from groomed slopes is exciting, yet it can be dangerous. Our recommendations:
- Inform yourself of the daily avalanche warnings.
- Check the day's weather outlook.
- Don't forget your safety gear: helmet, probe, shovel and avalanche beacon (hire from Ski Dome).
- Never ski unknown terrain alone.
- Freeride for the first time together with an experienced guide.
- Know your limits.
Additional information is available at reception. Only one more thing to say: book your room now and dive into powder!
