The Kaprunerhof is situated in the middle of Kaprun; Kaprun is located in the heart of the Zell am See-Kaprun holiday region, and that is located in the centre of the state of Salzburg. Arriving by car

From Germany

Take the München (Munich) – Salzburg motorway. Exit the motorway in Inzell-Siegsdorf and drive towards Lofer-Saalfelden and Mittersill. Around 4 km past Zell am See you will see the junction for Kaprun. 
Our tip: for this route you will not need a motorway road tax sticker (vignette)!

From Italy

Take the motorway towards Salzburg. Exit the motorway in Bischofshofen and drive towards Zell am See-Mittersill. Around 4 km past Zell am See you will see the junction for Kaprun.

From Switzerland

Take the Inntalautobahn motorway. Exit the motorway in Wörgl and continue in the direction of Kitzbühel-Mittersill. Shortly after Piesendorf you will see the junction for Kaprun.

Drive straight ahead along the right side of the river through the centre of Kaprun. Shortly before you arrive at the bridge, turn right onto Schulstrasse street. Do not cross any bridges and always stay on the right side of the river and you'll reach the hotel without any detours!

Arrival by public transport

By bus or taxi

You can quickly and easily get from the Zell am See railway station to the Kaprunerhof by taxi or with the ÖBB Postbus line 660. We will be happy to organise a taxi for you – simply let us know if you'll be needing one in advance. 

To the Kaprunerhof by plane

The Salzburg Airport W. A. Mozart is about 90 minutes by car from the Kaprunerhof. You can reach us in about 2.5 hours from Munich Airport. You can hire a car, book an airport transfer or take a taxi to us in Kaprun. We will be happy to arrange your transfer to and from the airport.
